Who is a good candidate for dimple creation surgery?
Every individual except those with following risk factors are suitable candidates for this surgery.

Surgery is done on an outpatient basis, under local anesthesia. The average operative time is 45 minutes. You will be awake and comfortable during the entire dimple surgery procedure. Special arrangements can be made if you feel to be asleep during the procedure.
Admission is only for the procedure and patient can walk out of clinic/ Hospital within an hour of surgery.
You can decide where the dimples will be, or you can have our surgeon decide with you about where the most optimal place for the dimples should be on your face.
Once the anesthesia effect wears off one may feel slight discomfort. Severe pain is unlikely after the surgery. Patients will be prescribed pain medications to be taken as per their requirement (as every individual has different pain threshold).
Like any other surgery there are minor risks like infection and minor bleeding. These incidences are very uncommon though
Following surgery except mild discomfort and swelling there is no compelling thing needing rest. We rather would like you to be up and about (go back to your routine) that will help in reduction of swelling.
The sutures are inside the mouth and they are absorbable. There is no need to visit the clinic following the operation. We would definitely like to hear from you from time to time regarding your progress and would like to see you once after 3 – 4 months to assess the actual result. Dimple created is permanent. Initially due to the swelling of the surrounding skin it will be more obvious and will obvious all the time. Once the swelling settles it will be obvious only when you smile. This final result may take around 2-3 months’ time.

You are free to eat and drink whatever you like after the dimple creation procedure. You will have some pain and discomfort in the cheek after dimple surgery, but it should be minimal and should not interfere with your ability to chew and eat normally
